Sidcot School launched in April 2010 to provide childcare and fun activities for children aged 7 to 12 years. The club is open during every school holiday (excluding Bank Holidays and the week between Christmas and New Year). All children in the local area are welcome to come along, whether or not they attend Sidcot School
Staffing
Our daily staffing ratios are at least 1 adult to 8 children. Half of all staff hold a recognised childcare qualification and all our staff are subject to DBS disclosure checks at the Enhanced level
Pre School Sessions
These sessions run alongside, our main Holiday Club provision. Due to the care needs of this age group, swimming will not be included in their activity programme

A Day at Holiday Club
At Sidcot Holiday Club we provide a safe environment for children to learn and have fun, whilst also ensuring that they receive excellent care and support from fully qualified staff.
- Children arrive between 8.30am and 9.20am. During this time they have free play as they meet the other children attending that day.
- At approximately 9.30am, the day begins with welcome and games to help children get to know each other.
- After a break for a snack* and outdoor play (weather permitting), children are encouraged to take part in the daily activity which will provide entertainment until it is time for lunch*.
